To all of you that have been blogging this past year.
Whether you blog once a day or once a week or maybe once a month. Please know that no matter how many readers you have, never lose the most important reason you began to blog. We begin our blog by writing about what inspires us. We write about funny things, we share our pictures, we share our pain, anger or frustration, we share our joy.
However as we gain readers we begin to worry more about what those readers think or want to read about vs what drove us to write in the first place. You will do this. It’s not a matter of “if” but rather “when”.
While having the greatest readers is awesome! Even more awesome is when they spread the love to you (like above)!
Be true to you and why you write. Don’t get loss in the quest for readers or views.
Blog for you!
I promise… You will blog longer, and you will keep your passion and the folks to choose to follow you will love you for you and the message you choose to share.
The love will come when you are authentic to you!

As for me?
I’m going to head into 2013 being as Non~Normal as usual
I like finding laughter in each day. It keeps me sane.
Life is too short to be miserable each moment of the day. That burden is too heavy and definitely no fun!
Who knows, maybe this time next year I can be blessed with a few more people sharing with me the blogging love of the year.
I know one thing… It will be because I’ll just keep being me

Yayyyy!!!! Non-normal people unite! I’m with you Tammy – I’m going to stay my same old crazy self in 2013 and make people laugh as much as possible. Just because I’m 47 doesn’t mean I have to be miserable and boring right? And if people think I should grow up, well they can just bite my *$&! LOL

Even worse, it drives us batty chasing those readers. And once you start second guessing yourself your blog goes in a different direction and bums you out.

it’s so true, the more i remain true to myself as i blog the more my blog grows. if i start trying to people please, then it becomes a chore.

Beautifully said, I do write my blog because it makes me happy first and I totlaly love it when I can make others happy too. It should neve become a chores and we should always enjoy it as we are now.
