Mystery Solved!

I think I’ve finally unraveled (pun intended) the mystery behind why each December your holiday lights are such a tangled mess.
~
At the end of each holiday season as we begin to pull them down
We start off with good intention
However…
Then we get all tangled up in them
Then we get so ticked off
We just shove them in a tote
Say
Screw it!
I’ll deal with it next year!
~
Then come Dec 2013 we shall begin the cycle again
~
Or go out and buy a few new boxes to add to our ever growing collection
Which ever is easiest
~

Twist ties & lots of them make short work of tangles because they can’t get tangled when they are all tied together neatly!

I like the idea of twist ties, but I just let the capt unravel them cos it’s like being on a boat ha ha!
Plus gives him something to do lol

If only someone would invent little glittery lights that just hang in the sky and you never have to change them and they don’t need wires or electricity… oh… wait…
LOL… my favorite are the houses you walk up to in July and their lights are still up. Basically July 1st you are half way so why the heck not… LOL

yes but that would be giving you too much satisfaction and I was having none of that yesterday.
Just wanted to make sure I was as clever as I thought I was.
You always are…sometimes too clever but not like a cleaver..not that sharp (see I was being cleaver…i mean clever)
